So there's this story today about people's opinion of the name Redskins for the Washington NFL team. The story reports an N of 1,004 respondents with a margin of error of 3.9 percent. That struck me as big, so I did the math and my margin of error is 3.09 percent. Either the reporter dropped the "0" or there's something more to the poll not in the story.
Does it matter? No, not really. It's my job to focus on the trivial, is all.
